"At the Alpha School in Jackson, NJ, we have a class we call "Athletic Arts" once per week. Our Art, Music and Physical Education teachers collaborate to create lessons where all three specials take place together. These lessons combine sensory activities with fine & gross motor skills, making our exceptional students feel more successful. Our K-5 students at the Alpha School used basketballs and paint in many creative ways to make a canvas to hang in our hallway."
